Hi, I’m Daniel Kehl, a landscape, people, and wildlife photographer based in Tsawwassen, Delta, BC, Canada. My work is driven by a deep passion for storytelling through light, composition, and quiet observation.
My journey into photography began in 2019 during a simple photo walk with a compact camera. That moment sparked something lasting. What started as curiosity quickly evolved into a meaningful creative practice, allowing me to slow down, observe more intentionally, and connect with the world around me.
Just one year later, one of my images was published in CHIP Foto-Video, a leading German photography magazine. Since then, my work has received several selected recognitions, including:
• 3rd Place in competitions by the Canadian Association for Photographic Art and the German photography magazine FOTOHITS
• Multiple Honourable Mentions from the Canadian Association for Photographic Art
• 1st Place, Adult Category, 2024 Earth Day Photo Contest (Delta, BC)
• Honourable Mention in the 2025 North Shore Challenge by the North Shore Photographic Society
• Shortlisted for the CEWE Photo Award 2021, selected from approximately 600,000 entries, the world’s largest photo contest

My photographs have also been featured in exhibitions in cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Montreal, and Chicago.
Through landscapes, wildlife, and candid human moments, my photography blends technical precision with quiet emotion and thoughtful composition. All of my work is created in and inspired by the natural and human environments of British Columbia and beyond.
